Doug Richardson's Accomplishments   Pierce County Councilmember Douglas (Doug) Richardson was first elected to office as representative of District 6 in November 2012 and was re-elected for a second term in 2016. He is currently serving as Chair of the Pierce County Council for a fifth consecutive year.   Public Service Councilmember Richardson has a distinguished history of public service including 17 years on the Lakewood City Council from 1995 -2012. During his seven years as Mayor of Lakewood, Richardson focused on public safety, economic development and parks.
